With the full acquisition, conrizon AG further strengthens its portfolio in the field of Enterprise Content Management (ECM). friendWorks specializes in electronic archiving as well as document and workflow management, and strategically complements the Group’s existing capabilities, particularly in consulting and project delivery.

A key driver behind the decision was the acquisition of Portal Systems AG a year ago and its successful integration into the Group. friendWorks has been a long-standing partner of both easy and Portal Systems. Consolidating all competencies under one holding company creates a strong foundation to further develop existing partnerships and deepen collaboration across the Group.
As part of the acquisition, Thomas Bürger, previously a shareholder, will join Michael Eisler and Alois Weissthanner as Managing Directors of friendWorks GmbH.

friendWorks will continue to operate as an independent service provider for customers outside the conrizon Group. At the same time, its close alignment with easy and Portal Systems unlocks additional potential and enables closely integrated collaboration within the Group.
